He by JV Price of Fame, a proven sire for endurance and sport horses, and is one of the last foals from this stallion, who passed away in 2020.  Asghar is a half brother to JV Trinidad who completed Tevis in 2022, as well as several others, such as JV Diamond Rio and JV Bay Street, that are successfully competing in endurance. 

Asghar is out of the outstanding endurance mare SHF Zareefa D Star. She is a proven endurance horse herself, with over 805 endurance miles and 385 LD miles. SHF Zareefa D Star has been top 10, 25 times, has had 3 wins and 2 Best Conditions.

Asghar is truly exceptional with a beautiful conformation, incredibly athletic, intelligent and easy going.
